I know I'm at peace when I'm close to Allah

I know because when I read Quran, it just makes sense. Because the holy book itself is a guidance for me in every endeavour. Because when God describes Himself, I feel a deep inner longing for Him. Because when I learn about Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., and the way he dealt with people, with animals, even with trees, I cry and the affection towards him grows bigger as I learn about his life. Because he is, and no doubt the is the only personality in history to be followed in everything.

I know because this is a religion that rewards me for simply smiling. A religion that requires me to take care of my neighbours, regardless of who they are. A religion that forbids me from meddling in others' lives. A religion that's main objective is to grant me happiness and success, in both this life and the next.

I know because I'm not required to confess my sins to a man. I know because He tells me over and over again, "I don't care what you've done, turn back to me. I'll wipe away your wrongdoings. I'll give you tranquility. I'll grant you happiness." He is always there whenever I'm healthy, sick, solemn, happy, and whenever I seek refuge to him. Because He is always there to welcome me with warmth.

I know because my heart is at home.
